The HUBZone application is a certification program that gives both minorities and non-minorities access to single source government contracts. The federal government has set a guide line for 3% of the Federal Budget to be allocated to HUBZone firms. There are a few simple requirements to become HUBZone certified and they are as follows:

 

  • Firm must be located in a "Historically Underutilized Business Zone" or HUBZone.

  • 35% or more of the firms employees must be located within a HUBZone.

  • 51% of the firm must be owned by a U.S. Citizen.

  • Firm Must be Registered with the CCR.

 

Our package includes submitting the HUBZone Application online, providing trouble shooting for HUBZone applicant firms and providing a document checklist. The document checklist packet will be required by the SBA once their HUBZone application is ready for processing by the SBA. Processing usually occurs 60-90 days after the application is submitted online.
